Combiner Wars toys

So far I have Optimus and Silverbolt. They are [composite word including 'f*ck'] all hard to find anywhere in this area. I also have Thundercracker, which is technically part of the line, but does not combine with anything else.

Prime:
Good overall design. I think he is a little too thin at the waist, but that is just me being picky I think. Nice tight joints and good articulation. My favorite thing about this particular prime is how the head is transformed in vehicle or Ultra Prime mode. I could not for the life of me figure it out and finally had to look at the instructions. It flips sideways. New and neat to me.

Silverbolt:
Very pretty and chunky figure. Will hold up very well compared to torsos of older lines of combiners. Transformation is a bit tricky. and not in the "oh thats cool" kind of way. Also, his feet dont fit quite right into his leg when transforming. May be a singular defect. May be a mould issue.

Thundercracker:
Nice toy. Cheap but gets the job done in both modes. Easy to transform. Major gripe is that he is almost GoBot ish in the way he transforms. Head isnt hidden at all, Just moving around some pieces on his back. Looks nice displayed though.

Overall grade on this line so far:
B

Prime looks kinda gorilla to me. I haven't grabbed any of the toys as I am waiting for sets to show up on ebay (and still hurting from buying Warden).

The new Megs looks amazeballs, though.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.
