Combiners War Combiners.

I don't know, I'm very tempted to get these after see Dev and Superion. What do you guys think? They're huge. I still remembered how excited I was to buy the original Devestator six pack, even if he would fall over at the slightest breeze. But these guys look great. And in scale with Masterpiece figures perhaps!

The Takara versions are being sold as sets on TFSource, from 134-150. They don't include the Legends figures, but I'm tempted as I haven't been able to find good deals out of package aftermarket.

Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

The Takara versions are different, right? Better?

I picked up a Takara Superion - the plastic is better, the joints are tighter, the paint apps are more anime accurate - and the set comes with Slingshot instead of Alpha Bravo.

I would recommend it

I've just pre-ordered the Takara Devastator from Kapow. In very real danger of falling off the wagon here lads.

By which I mean I've also just bought MP Soundwave and MP Bumblebee from eBay and am probably about to order that Third Party Impactor.

Hey, where did the wagon go?

The wagon just combined with 4 other wagons to create a mighty mechanical warrior.

I just ordered Magnus, Nightbeat, the add ons for CW Megs and Impactor. Bah.

TakaraTomy's Unite Warriors Superion was the first Transformers toy I bought since the Fort Max reissue in 2012.

I regret NOTHING.

Bummed that Defensor's an online exclusive, though. Bic Camera's in-store prices are nigh-impossible to pass up.

Turns out there's a third-party add-on for it.

Really want to get Unite Warriors Defensor just for Groove, so the price isn't really helping there. Sure I'd like the other four along for the ride, of course, that's kinda the point. Maybe Optimus can get his own team going with the chopper, Offroad and Rook, just no sign of a fourth 'leftover' limb yet... maybe a retool of Skydive for the Combaticons? Here's hoping.

Loved Superion. Dug Menasor. Devastator arrived a few weeks ago.

It's been standing around my living room since a day or two after I bought it. I keep giving it sideways glances because I still can't believe it's a real thing. It's probably the single best TF figure I've ever owned. It's simply perfect in every way I can conceive of.
