Well, this was just a super-fun bit of book. I don't know that a tongue can possibly be planted further inside of a cheek without exiting the other side, but that's not a mark against it. And, wow, was it good to read more MTMTE-toned TF fiction.

"The crossover." "One with the Brand." I was dying. Dorkily hilarious. Is it bad that I'd read James's M.A.S.K. book if he ever did one?

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Hell, no. I'll read and buy (not 9 ****ing covers, mind) anything the guy does. His tone just speaks to me.

But, seriously, how did that book get published? The majority of the whole thing was taking the piss out of the entire, brand-wide marketing synergy that IDW and Hasbro has been engaged in. It was *great*, and that it was allowed to see the light of day speaks volumes to both companies' dedication to quality.

On pins and needles waiting for Lost Light.

That was briliiantly hilarious.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.
