Transformers Til All Are One #1 and #2

So I decided, "well, it's been over a year since I last checked in with a Barber or Marghreid Scott TF title, maybe things have moved along", so I went ahead and bought these issues.

Big regrets.

Would you believe, Starscream and Windblade are still bickering about the leadership of Cybertron and maintaining order with the NAILS, which apparently are called the "badgeless" now? I mean, come on already! Is there no other theme? It's all still about ridiculous politics of Autobots, Decepticons, and neutrals, none of which is clever or intriguing in the slightest. I know they are under Hasbro mandate to parallel the toys, but there has to be more a writer can do with these series then this.

On the flip side, the Titans Return one shot was actually quite good, largely because Roberts wrote most of it. It features the mysterious return of Sentinel Prime, reaching waaaaay back to the unpopular Megatron: Origin series.

I just wish a semi-decent writer could take over for these other series. It would give me something to look forward to as filler until MTMTE drops.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

I bought the Sentinel Prime one and quite enjoyed it, though I was waiting for someone to mention that Megatron made a chair out of Sentinel's armour, which surely warrants some sort of nod. Intrigued to see Soundwave and Prime working together, I might try and catch up on ex-RID at some point. Totally agree regarding Starscream and Windblade though, they are dull as dishwater.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!
