Where famous, and infamous, threads are enshrined for all eternity. (Although really it's just an excuse to laugh at trolls a few months down the road. Ha!)

with out shap shifting, if the auto-bots are cars, and the cons are planes,

the cons will be freaking huge, and if an autobot can stretch himself out to be as tall as a con, then a con can stretch to be taller.

and then everyone is 'shap/mass changing

and be honest its cock, they should allow some artistic frigging license. they are aliens, I dont argue in say Independence day that gravity alone would crush them huge ships.

I just except what I see.

basic, if you dont like the idea of mass shape shifting, your stupid.

You are so right. It's a film, it's based on toys - which are fantasy items anyway - accept it.
If we don't mind scottish green ogres and talking donkeys and giant gingerbread men - and the total untruth that Jennifer Saunders is funny - then I'm certain that we can accept mass-conversion.
Filmmakers are just stupid genitals, and if they are going to make a movie to tap into a certain fan-based market, then they should take on the preferences of that market too in terms of franchise lore.

GRR. SO ANGRY.

Getting back to Soundwave..

I agree he was the ultimate cool decepticon commander type. i think the the fact he hasn't been over used in the toons adds greatly too to legendary status. I can't comment on WW or DW as i never got a chance to get my hands on them here in the South-West UK, but as far as the original comics go, he was the bad ass for playing people off aginst one another.

I think it's a good point about prehaps taking out all powerful con leaders to easily, but ultimatly he'll always be a legend in his own right, right?

Should have lived in the South-EAST - there were loads of them here.
I don't even remember Soundwave in the War Within stories. Oh, no, wait a minute - there he is. Cool. But not used enough.

So, that would be 'less' than 'more' then?
Still doesn't make her funny, wherever she lives.

And isn't this supposed to be a 'Soundwave' topic? Errr... 'Puttup'?

I'm sorry, I don't understand - how can they be neighbours if they AREN'T neighbours?

Er... "Energon cubes in production."

Okay, let's try something easy, shall we?

Neighbour - someone who lives near someone else.
Next-door Neighbour - someone who lives next-door to someone else.

Near - a subjective concept alluding to proximity and conditional primarily on population density. Ref: close. Cf: far, distant.

I hope it's clear now.

Define 'near' (you probably WILL too).
I have a friend who lives in Norwich (17 miles away). I consider this 'near', because I go there regularly - but I wouldn't say that we're neighbours. When does 'near' stop being 'NEAR'?

I'm just being awkward now. :D

I already defined 'near' (read my post again).

And, yes, I appear to have muddled up my Decepticon letter-answerers' labels for readers.

Hmm... the eject button's jammed.

Shouldn't this be about SOundwave?

Anyways, I still think he should be a communications van or something. Making him an I-Pod would be kind of ridiculous, the robot mode woould suck donkey balls.

I thought Don Murpy's movie chat said that Hasbro demanded Soundwave size-change. And if he WAS an ipod, the little screen-display could be his chest like in his G1 tape slot.

And Metal Vendetta? 'Gears'? Gears what? :eyebrow:
