You can do this. Look in your profile under 'Board Style' and choose the Safe For Work one.

I already do. I'm talking about user-wide disabling.

Eh?

So... let me get this right... you want an entirely optional feature that most people use removed because you consider it clutter.

Me dino read correct?

Dead Head, you and me are long lost brothers.

I agree completely with all you said.

Except for the sig/avy thing. :( Can't you atleast tolerate the avy's? They're so nice, you know, they immediately identify you. Also very fun for us graphics-workers to make.

Well the survey did ask for suggestions. That's one of mine. Other messageboards (that I'm a member of) that have disabled these things have ended up being the better for it. I was going to say remove emoticon images user-wide too.

It's not a big deal for me. Just a suggestion that's all. I'm surprized that it's raised your proverbial eyebrow! *grin*

Just click on your browser's 'Back' button's history and scroll back to the one labelled "TransFans.net | Search" (should be right above "TransFans.net | Index").

That's what I do. ;)

Ta. I'm still new to this and don't always think laterally. That said, it doesn't show changes if you (or anyone else) has posted in the meantime. Or am I wrong in that observation?

v. spelled, or spelt (splt) spell·ing, spells
v. tr.

Also, I was talking about pervasive, consistent errors in spelling/grammar that make posts harder to read.

What does Transfans lack that other sites have?
People who can follow simple instructions:
Also please ONLY POST SURVEY RESPONSES IN THIS TOPIC – if you want to discuss anything that comes out of this please start a separate topic, this will make it significantly easier to collate the results.

I thought the Numpad-Mouse idea went out in the mid-90s?

Along with the poorly-named CyberMan (A trackball that's also a mouse. Why? If I wanted my trackball to be a mouse, I'd just invert it!).

Here's a question: why the hell does everyone on this site say "Ta" all of a sudden? Was my "Ta is the cool new word" memo lost in the mail?

EDIT: Hey! I just thought of something for "What New Forums Would You Like To See?"

What about a "Random Thoughts" sticky topic in GD where you can just say something a paragraph or preferably less where you can basically say anything you want quickly and randomly, without having to start a thread all by yourself to say it.

I always say 'ta'. It's easier than saying 'T&A'.
