I am not the pimp, but I would imagine that if I was, I would not advertise that fact, unless I was severely impaired in my train of thought and wished to bring a world of hurt down upon my ass.

In fact, I would probably go to such lengths as to categorically deny that I was the pimp, if I actually was.

For example, I believe that the pimp would answer the question "are you the pimp?" with a resounding "No, I am not the pimp."

I too, would answer the above question in a similarly negative response.

After all, the pimp would know he or she was the pimp, while all the pretenders would merely think they were, and therefore he or she would have no reason to cement that fact in their own psychology by impressing it into others.

So, to answer your question posed in the subject of this topic, I do not believe it is you.
