Got it.

Pretty please so far although some of the weapons seem to have been tamed a bit.

Am starting to get my grove on though.

Can't wait to be able to properly f about with the character customisation.

I think it's much better than the first, alot more fleshed out.
I'd love to make an Impactor in multi player.

One thing I do notice, but I have a decent PC, is the textures are a bit naff.
I need to check out the PC version.

Would be good to know what system ppl buy this one so we can get a team together and challenge some other Tf sites...

Planning on picking this up for the PS3. But I suck at video games.

Pretty good blaster, still not a massive fan of the generic red (or purple) shirts, they're all either coloured in red lights or purple lights and look too samey for me.

Basing this on what I've played so far, it looks like it will be a linear, non stop shooter again. Which is ok, but I've got GoW, so it needs to be ridiculously good. Plus that could get repetitive, I'm assuming (hoping) other characters will offer you different gameplay elements.

Would love it if there are more GTA open ended type levels in the full release.

God-damnit... no PC Demo. :( As per bloody usual!

Dear god... the support for the PC platform may never have been as low as it is today.

Well, at least it's actually coming out for PC, heard they changed their mind at the last minute on that.

Problem for the PC is 2/3 of games sold now are pirated. Sad but true

A little late to the party, but I finally downloaded and played through the demo.

Found it all pretty good fun, especially the Vortex level. Cybertron's never looked better!

Multiplayer is damned good fun too once you get the hang of things.

On the bad side, I really don't like the look and feel for the robots much. The red / purple glows are a nice touch, but the voice acting is cheesy and the chunky 'bot design doesn't sit right with me. They should've hired some of the comic artists - EJ or Don would go to town on this!

Also, found the 'red/purple coats' waaaay too generic. Hard to route for the autobots cause when all the generics look exactly the same! The AI was a bit lack lustre too.

The PC version is incredible, the low res textures are gone, precise lighting and lloads of extra effects. Wow!

yeah got it today but not had a chance to actually look at it yet.

Was texting Ben earlier about the final level of the solo campagin - It's absolutely mind blowingly good.

Some great voice acting in the game - Jazz and Cliffy's interplay especially. And then Jazz's level's of self assurance on the final level - given what he is going up against - loved it.

Cracking on with multiplayer now - i am decidely average but it's great fun.

War for Earth next??

So I just completed the Grimlock level - so many throw backs to the Movie (no, not the Bay crap) I love it.

I was playing as Megatron earlier, looking out over Cybertron thinking, im deff going to be making some desktop screen savers out of this, its amazing.

What I love is the way Cybertron is like a giant living robot, transforming around you, and all the weapons transform as part you. This is obviously a nod to Mr Bays TF world but its so much clearer, its essentially the interpretation of the TF I imagined/hoped for when they made the new films.

I was just thinking where is all this going next, Id love to see it on earth, with bigger environments, and some more nods towards the comics... Gawd if they keep improving this could be a great franchise, High Moon studios clearly knows its stuff.

On the DLC front I was reading that various TF like Wheeljack, Ultra Magnus and the combaticons will be available for DL soon.

I know it wont happen in this game but thinking about the future, one day, imagine 5 player co-op where you combine...

Whilst im on my wish listing, can I just have a huge open world of cybertron please, with the custom TF tools seen here in Fall of Cybertron, but with some RPG elements and... bah im in the wrong job.

Anyway, so thats two of you on the Xbox version?

Yeah me and Ben are on Xbox.

Got the DLC. The Magnus character model is fantastic.

I finished the campaign yesterday. Overall pretty damn good stuff. The Prime, Megs and Grimlock levels were all great fun, but by far my favourite was Jazz's level.

My only gripes were sometimes from a story POV it felt a little too gee-wun. The animated movie nods were far too blatant and cheesy for my liking. I was also disappointed that the Swindle / Starscream levels featured gimicks identical to Cliffjumper & Jazz - would it really have hurt to given them a unique ability each? Lazy imo.

And killing off Sludge! Gah!

Would be nice if they'd spent a little time featuring some of the more obscure characters as well - too many a-listers & genericons. I think it would help make cybertron feel like a fully populated planet (imagine if it was a free-roaming environment like GTA?).

yeah i'm assuming Jazz's retreval of his memory core is a sufficient for plot shennanigans to bring him back

In the end credits you do see all 5 Dinobots in robot mode. Seems odd they'd build a character model for Sludge without using it. Maybe a DLC character OR a new DLC story chapter!

Something I forgot to mention on the voice acting. Loved Jazz & Cliff, but hated a few of the others. Especially Slag/Slug. Also wish Onslaught had his intelligent, softer voice from the original cartoon rather than a generic angry, gruff voice.

Got it today. All I have to say is "damnit I have to work in the morning." I have made it as far as the Jazz level. Have not completed it yet. Absolutely loved Metroplex smashing Megatron.
Was sad for poor Sludge. I loved the nod to WW:TDA when Jazz said "they call themselves the 'Lightning Strike Something or Other'" and Cliffy responded with 'That sounds stupid' and I thought to myself "I felt the same way."
