I'm really excited for this, there is stacks more characterisation in those 7 pages than the first 12 issues of Costa's run.

I really wish Roche was sticking around though. I'm not a fan of Milne's jagged and overly complicated Transformers.

Ditto. But Roche is going out on top of his game, for sure.
For now, it seems like IDW wants my money.

Amazing. Roche's art has a very nice conservation of space I haven't seen in Death of Optimus Prime or previously. It looks a bit like Animated. Love it. Really, really do not want to see him go.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Only speculation.

My guess is that he doesn't want to do "just" Transformers forever. But the timing is odd- I would've suspected he'd do at least an arc or something.

Hope it's only that and nothing bad.

I think Roche wants to write more than draw at the moment, he mentioned at this year's AA that he'd been emphatically told by IDW they weren't interested in him as a writer as they had more than enough good ones already.

That so makes its own punchline...
