Star Wars: Rebels

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Star Wars: Rebels

"Kid. I'm about to let everyone in on the secret."

****** awesome.

Okay, so it wasn't as good as Clone Wars. But it didn't disappoint. Clearly targeted to a younger audience. But Dave Filoni had his paws all over this. And for anyone who loved The Clone Wars, that's a very, very good thing. Better than if Lucus were involved (see prequels).

For anyone who is not aware when this takes place, it's right after the prequels, when the Empire believes it has purged the galaxy of those wretched Jedi. But of course, it's never that easy.

Oh... and watch the Clone Wars!

I know I could google this, but, in the interest of laziness, is this being provided online as well, or is it only via Disney Channel on cable?

Edit - To answer my own question, It's available online for a 1.99 per episode.

Oddly enough even on Youtube. I didn't even know they did that.

i would watch Clone Wars but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere in the UK.

Looking forward to Rebels - enjoyed the online shorts and got the first few recorded to watch this weekend.

Yes, catch it on Netflix before Disney pulls another fast one.

So yeah, I'm bored with this. Pretty clear it's not up to par with The Ole CW. Aside from the first episode, all the others have been pretty meh.

On the positive side, the final unreleased season of the CW, The Lost Missions, came out on Blu Ray.

I quite like this - it is probably not up there with CW at it's best (yet) but i'd say it's better than some of the earlier stuff.

Characters are nice and solid i think, action is good, nice sense of humour.

Okay, so I'm sure all of you have done as I requested and watched all seasons of the incredible The Clone Wars cartoon series on Blu-Ray, one of the greatest animated series of all time and one of Lucas' top Star Wars achievements aside from Episode IV and V.

And I'm sure all of you have been watching Star Wars Rebels and have been as much underwhelmed as I have been.

Until now......
